Our Image Merger joins two or more images into a single file, entirely in your browser. Upload any number of images (JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF) and choose to merge them horizontally — placed side by side — or vertically — stacked on top of each other. A live preview on the right updates automatically whenever you change any setting, so there is no need to click a Merge button.
Fine-tune the result with three controls: set the gap between images (0–500 px), pick a gap fill color with the color picker, and choose an alignment (start, center, or end) to control how images of different heights or widths line up. All images keep their original dimensions; the canvas expands to fit them. Alignment controls which edge or center line the images snap to when they differ in size.
Common uses include side-by-side before/after comparisons, combining multiple product shots into one listing image, assembling step-by-step tutorial panels, and stitching screenshots into a single tall image. Download the result as PNG for lossless quality or JPG for a smaller file. Everything happens locally — images never leave your device.

Everything you need to know about Image Merger
Horizontal places images side by side in a single row — the canvas width equals the sum of all image widths plus gaps, and height equals the tallest image (plus any alignment offset). Vertical stacks images in a single column — height equals the sum of all image heights plus gaps, and width equals the widest image. Choose horizontal for side-by-side comparisons, vertical for step-by-step panels or stitching long screenshots.
When images differ in height (horizontal merge) or width (vertical merge), alignment controls where the smaller images are positioned relative to the canvas edge. Start aligns all images to the top (horizontal) or left (vertical). Center places them in the middle. End aligns to the bottom (horizontal) or right (vertical). Images that match the canvas dimension are unaffected.
The gap color fills the space between images when gap is set above 0. It also fills the empty area beside smaller images when alignment is start or end (the leftover space on the opposite side). Set it to white for a clean look, black for a dark theme, or match your brand color. When gap is 0, the color has no visible effect.
There is no fixed limit — you can merge as many images as your browser memory allows. Keep in mind that very large images or a large number of high-resolution images may slow down the preview. For most practical uses (2–10 images), performance should be instant.
Images are drawn at their original pixel dimensions onto the canvas — no scaling is applied. PNG download is lossless. JPG download applies standard compression, which may introduce minor artifacts on sharp edges. For maximum quality, use PNG. For smaller file size where minor compression is acceptable, use JPG.
